I think one of the many amazing things about Coventry’s Learn is it highlights the attention to care-full and passionate work that groups like DMLL are doing to share their hard work freely, allowing other groups to not only benefit from this work, but also build on it and hopefully riff and adapt it to their specific context(s). Open curriculum like Learn often gets packaged up as a MOOC these days and processed through an online factory of time-based learning that somehow ends up as a badge of some kind, but that is not the impulse behind Learn. Learn is an open, adaptable community resource that is created in dialogue with ever-more pressing need to provide support for educational communities to build digital literacy into every course/faculty in order to empower teachers and learners to understand and responsibly inhabit the new online digs we find ourselves in. A project truly at the scale of care.
